This method involves driving precast piles into the ground using a pile hammer. The primary construction equipment is the pile hammer (diesel hammer) mounted on the hanging frame of the base machine. • Due to the high impact force of the hammer, this method is widely used in projects requiring the load-bearing capacity of large piles, such as bridge foundations, port bridges, and wind turbine foundations.
Disadvantages:
• One of the major drawbacks of this method is the production of loud noise, intense vibrations, which can affect surrounding existing structures.
